About Me.
Having spent several years working in project work, staff recruitment and training, I found myself often burnout and wanting to make a difference and feeling unfulfilled in my career. I found myself more focused and interested in getting to know people and wanting to understand more about their behaviours and actions. I often played the caregiver/mediator in my life with family, friends and work colleagues and found interest in the mental health sector and wanting to make a difference.

Training & Experience
I am qualified to MSc level in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and a registered member MBACP (Accred). I have been in clinical practice since 2019 and set up my private practice in 2020.
Being trained as an integrative Psychotherapist means I blend modalities together in sessions using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Attachment Theory and Person-Centred Therapy in order to reach your therapy goals. This can also allow for much deeper work to be achieved together in sessions.
I have experience working with domestic abuse and violence in a women's refuge as well as young people in schools and colleges and at Mind Charity. I have worked with various presenting problems and have a wealth of knowledge in burnout, domestic abuse, vicarious trauma, generational trauma and working with the effects of this.
